Dead Wooding: involves the removal of dead wood either for aesthetic reasons or on the grounds of safety. This reduces the risk of wood falling and causing damage to persons or property. Crown Cleaning: similar to dead wooding but with the addition of removing any poor health or crossing/rubbing branches. This will reduce the chance of any possible tree damage/decay in the future. Crown Reduction: is an area where the arborist’s skill and artistic flair comes into it’s own. This procedure is usually undertaken on trees that have out grown there position and the owner does not wish to remove the tree. Crown Thinning: to prevent the sail effect on the canopy of the tree by removing branches within the canopy of the tree, this may also allow more light penetration through the canopy. Crown Lifting: removes the lower branches of the tree canopy to allow unrestricted access under the tree either for vehicle or pedestrian access. This method is also employed to raise branches off adjacent properties.

Formative Pruning: pruning of young trees to prevent structural abnormalities developing in the future. To encourage better growth characteristics. Sectional Felling: the dismantling of trees in confined spaces or trees which have obstacles underneath which can not be moved i.e. glass houses, garages, etc by using ropes and rigging techniques. Straight Felling: where space allows, the tree can be felled in one and then tidied up. TPO or Conservation Area Applicants: for trees that either have TPO or are within a Conservation Area we will complete the planning process from start to finish, on your behalf. Hedge Work: we undertake all aspects of hedge work, from yearly trim, to reducing and reshaping an overgrown hedge. Wood Chipper & Operator Hire: if you have been busy in your garden and you have made a pile of cuttings or branches which is just to much to take to your local recycling centre - we can come in and chip all of this green waste for you either to keep and spread round your garden again, or we will take it away to be recycled.
